I'm Rob Thompson. I studied Geography at Wilfrid Laurier in Waterloo, then started my career as an environmental technologist with Golder in Fort McMurray. I later moved into management at Garda Security — but I wanted to be outside, not behind a desk, so I launched Keep It Green Landscaping, and later teamed up with my friend Sean to build Creative Industries into a full-service operation. I've also worked the grounds at top golf courses — including Cabot, and these days right here at Black Mountain Golf Course. I've always been happiest outdoors, getting the small things right. I live on the mountain with my wife Jodi and two boys.
