I'm Rob Thompson, and I live on Black Mountain with my wife Jodi and our two boys.
I studied Geography and started out as an environmental technologist. Then came ten years of landscaping up in Fort McMurray: two running my own company, Keep It Green, and eight more as a partner in Creative Industries, a company still going strong up there today. Along the way I've also done a summer each on the grounds crews at Cabot and right here at Black Mountain Golf Course.
Here's how I work. My equipment is all battery-powered, so I can make an early start without waking your street. I quote what I see, I turn up when I said I would, and I'd sooner tell you something doesn't need doing than pad an invoice. You deal with me from the first phone call to the last bag of clippings.

Most of what I do is straightforward: keeping a family's yard looking good so they don't have to think about it. Weekly or bi-weekly through the season, a proper cleanup when things have got away on you, and snow cleared before you head out in the morning. If your yard has got ahead of you, don't be shy. That's a normal week for me.
Down south for the winter or away for work? I keep an eye on your property while you're gone: regular upkeep, snow clearing, and a quick photo or update so you always know how things look. You come home to a place that never skipped a beat.
I take on smaller multi-unit stratas and complexes where hands-on, personal attention matters more than a big crew. You deal directly with me, the person actually doing the work, with consistent service, one point of contact, and references available on request.
